The Secret of Bermuda Triangle
Theories abound as to why ships and planes have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle. Some theories suggest that the area is haunted, while others speculate that the disappearances are the result of extraterrestrial activity, human error, or natural phenomena. One of the earliest recorded disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle occurred in 1918, when the USS Cyclops, a United States Navy collier, vanished without a trace with over 300 people on board. Since then, many other ships and planes have disappeared in the area, including the USS Scorpion, which sank in 1968, and Flight 19, a group of five U.S. Navy TB Avenger torpedo bombers that disappeared during a training mission in 1945.
